Kiuchi Gallery

Constructed by former government bureaucrat, Jushiro Kiuchi, from 1912 until 1914, this structure was later reconstructed to a combination of Japanese and Western styles, with the interior part designed into the western fashion. Kiuchi Gallery was donated by owner, Sunwood Corporation to the city and was opened to the public on September 26, 2004. With its modern architecture of the past era, Kiuchi Gallery is recognized as a structure with a high historical value. Now, it has also become the citizens' gallery.
