Removal of illegally-parked bicycles

  1. The designated no-bicycle-parking zones are areas within about 200 meters of the following railway stations:
    JR Sobu Line : Ichikawa Station, Moto-Yawata Station
    Keisei Line : Ichikawa-Mama Station, Keisei Yawata Station
    JR Musashino Line : Ichikawa-Ono Station
    Tokyo Metro Tozai Line : Myoten Station, Gyotoku Station, Minami-Gyotoku Station
    (Check the detailed explanation of the area shown on the signboard, etc. set near the station.)
  2. Bicycles, etc. that are left in the designated no-bicycle-parking zone are subject to removal.
  3. There is no preliminary (day before, etc.) warning about the implementation of the removal.
  4. In cases where bicycles, etc. are tied to a guardrail or any other structure, using chains, etc., the chains, etc. will be cut off and there will be no compensation for the damage.
* Do not leave your bicycle, etc. in front of any railway station. Park your bicycle, etc. in a bicycle parking lot.

[When your bicycle is stolen]
  • Recently there have been many cases of stolen bicycles. You are requested to make a crime prevention registration.
  • If your bicycle is stolen, report the theft to the police immediately.
  • Ichikawa City removes illegally-parked bicycles and it is not uncommon that stolen and abandoned bicycles are found among them. (In cases where a stolen bicycle is removed and stored, and the theft has been reported before the day of the removal, it is not necessary to pay the removal and storage fee.)
