Origami is the Japanese traditional art and game of paper folding that creates geometric representation of objects such as animals and plants, and objects used in daily lives. Origami also refers to the finished products or the square sheets of paper that are used for making this. Nowadays, the art form of origami is being rediscovered, generating more intricate designs and forms that have never been seen before. Various concepts related to traditions of different countries are incorporated to create new designs. The geometric nature of origami is being explored by scholars as a field of study in Mathematics.
