1. Aiming for a society where humans and animals live harmoniously

June is “proper animal care promotional month”.
For humans and animals to live happily together, pet owners are required to learn correct knowledge about how to keep their pet animals and to observe rules as well as manners.

Microchipping and microchip registration are now mandatory

As the Revised Animal Protection Laws were put into force in June 2022, microchipping dogs and cats that are sold by pet shops and breeders has been mandated along with the registration of the microchip data.
As for the dogs and cats that are already adopted by pet owners and for dogs and cats that come from places other than pet shops or breeders, microchipping remains as non-binding obligation. Please consider microchipping your pet in case they escape, get lost or in the event of a disaster.

Keep good manners for pet animals and the community

As a pet owner, everyone needs to take full responsibility until the end. Pet abandonment/abuse is a crime. It is advisable to find a temporary home for your pet in advance in case of a disaster or in case a pet owner must be hospitalized suddenly. Keeping your pet dog unattended is not permitted. Please always use a leash when taking your dog for a walk. Unleashing your dog is prohibited even at parks and riverside areas in the city (except for dog parks).

2. Updates on COVID-19 vaccines

Appointments at individual medical institutions are now available for July

As appointment start times vary at each medical institution, appointment frames will be released incrementally.

Mass vaccination sites

Appointments up to Sunday, August 7 are now open.

Appointment support desks provides support

Support is provided at public facilities in the city for people who need assistance when making a vaccination appointment on smartphone or computer. Support desk staff will explain in person how to make an online appointment. Please bring your vaccination voucher when you seek support.

For those who have yet to receive a third dose of vaccines

A third dose of vaccines has become available after 5 months passes from the date of the second dose of vaccines. Please make an appointment via online or call center.

3. Help desk for Ukrainian evacuees

Consultations were provided for Ukrainian evacuees at the FRESC help desk until recently, but the “Help desk for Ukrainian evacuees” started accepting consultations for Ukrainian evacuees since June 1 by phone or mail.

4. Providing common tools for multilingual information, etc.

While large-scale floods occur frequently almost every year nationwide with the possibility that another disaster may occur anytime, anywhere, foreign residents need to evacuate in case of emergency as Japanese residents do in the region.
In order to provide help in the initiatives taken by each local government and regional international associations to eliminate the number of foreign residents who fail to evacuate in the event of a disaster, the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) have created a study tool for foreign residents using the “My Time Line” (disaster prevention action plans for foreign residents) to help you identify hazards in your home before a disaster occurs and to plan your evacuation ahead. ひとと　ぺっとが　いっしょに　しあわせに　くらすためには　ひとが　ぺっとの　かいかたに　ついて　ただしい　ちしきを　もって　るーるや　まなーを　まもることが　もとめられて　います。

まいくろちっぷの　そうちゃく・とうろくが　ほうりつで　きめられました

6がつから　「かいせい　どうぶつ　あいご　かんりほう」で　ぺっとしょっぷとかが　はんばいする　いぬや　ねこに　まいくろちっぷを　つけることと　まいくろちっぷ　じょうほうの　とうろくを　することが　きめられました。
すでに　かっている　いぬ　ねこや　ぺっとしょっぷなどの　おみせいがいから　もらった　いぬ　ねこには　なるべく　まいくろちっぷを　つけてください。いぬ　ねこが　にげたときや　さいがいの　ときのために　まいくろちっぷを　つけることを　かんがえて　ください。

ぺっとと　ちいきの　ために　かいかたの　まなーを　まもりましょう

ぺっとは　さいごまで　せきにんを　もって　かいましょう。どうぶつを　すてて　おいていくことや　ひどい　あつかいを　することは　はんざいです。さいがいの　ときや　かいぬしが　きゅうに　びょういんに　はいらなければ　ならない　ばあいなど　もしものときの　じゅんびとして　しばらくの　あいだ　ぺっとを　あずけることが　できるところを　みつけて　おきましょう。いぬに　りーどを　つけることを　しないで　かうことは、きんしされています。そとに　でるときは　かならず　りーどを　つけましょう。いちかわしの　こうえんなどでも　りーどを　つけることを　しないで　さんぽするのは　きんしです（どっぐらんを　のぞく）。

びょういんによって　よやくを　できる　たいみんぐが　ちがうため　よやくできる　じかんたいはじゅんばんに　こうかい　されます。
よやくなどに　ついて　びょういんへ　でんわすることは　やめてください。
