1. Beware of possible heatstroke!

In order to make the summer months safe and enjoyable, everyone needs to pay attention to the amount of liquids they drink on a regular basis and avoid getting heatstroke.

【Symptoms of heatstroke】
Mild cases : dizziness, leg cramps and excessive sweating.
Severe cases : headaches, vomiting, fatigue, lack of ability to concentrate and altered mental state.

【Emergency measures in case of heatstroke】
（1）Call ambulance immediately if a person doesn’t respond to your call.（TEL: 119）
（2）Find a cooler place and let the person lie down quietly, loosening clothes.
（3）Place icepacks against the neck, under the arms, around the groin area, where large blood vessels are found.
（4）Provide electrolyte drinks.（Consult a medical doctor in case drinking on their own is difficult.）

2. “Ichikawa Pear” Fair is held in August

Ichikawa City is one of the top-ranking Japanese-pear-producing cities in Japan. Ichikawa Pears have received good reviews in terms of quality and flavor. Special sales of Ichikawa Pears are going to be held next month as its season has come.

（1）Saturday, August 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
（2）Thursday, August 10, from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
※Sales will end when everything is sold out.

3. “The Ichikawa City Fireworks Display” is fast approaching!

Saturday, August 5 from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
※The event will be cancelled in case of severe weather.

【Cautions】
・JR Ichikawa Station is expected to be extremely crowded. Please avoid meeting your family and friends inside or around the station.
・Please take your garbage home.
・Holding a place in advance within the venue is not allowed.
・The venue is a smoke-free environment. Using any devices requiring use of fire is also prohibited.
・Please do not watch the fireworks on a pedestrian overpass or a street because it is dangerous.
・Traffic is going to be regulated on the day of the event. Please follow the Police and/or security guards’ instructions.
・Car and bicycle parking near the venue may be closed.
・Use of drones in the venue is prohibited.

4. Invitation to “Ichikawa Water Cruise”

The city will hold an event in which you can enjoy water activities such as a rubber boat ride, getting in the water up to your feet and nature photo shoots on recommended spots. For more details, please see the Ichikawa City official website.

Sunday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
※The event will be cancelled in case of rain.

【ねっちゅうしょうの　しょうじょう（じょうたい）】
かるい　しょうじょう ： めまい（ふらっとする）、たちくらみ（たちあがったときに　ふらっとする）、こむらがえり（あしが　いたくなる）、たくさん　あせを　かく
おもい　しょうじょう ： ずつう（あたまが　いたい）、おうと（たべたものを　はく）、つかれた　かんじが　する、しゅうちゅうする　ちからが　おちる、なにかを　しようと　おもう　きもちが　ない

【ねっちゅうしょうに　なった　ばあい】
（1）なまえを　よんでも　へんじが　ない　ばあいは　すぐに　きゅうきゅうしゃを　よぶ（TEL：119）。
（2）すずしい　ばしょに　いどうする。ようふくの　ぼたんや　べるとを　はずして　しずかに　ねかせる。
（3）くび、わきのした、ふとももの　つけねなど　ふとい　けっかん（けつえきが　とおる　くだ）が　ある　ところを　ひやす。
（4）すぽーつどりんくなどを　のませる（じぶんで　のむことが　できない　ばあいは　びょういんへ　いく）。

いちかわしでは　たくさんの　なしを　つくっています。いちかわの　なしは　ひんしつが　よくて　おいしいと　いわれています。とくべつに　ぎょうとくえきと　しやくしょで　なしを　うります。

【ちゅういを　してください】
・JRいちかわえきは　たくさんの　ひとが　つかうので　ひじょうに　こみます。えきの　なかや　まわりで　まちあわせ（かぞくや　ともだちと　あう　やくそくを　すること）を　するのは　きけんなので　やめてください。
・ごみは　かならず　いえに　もってかえってください。
・はなびが　はじまる　まえに　かいじょうの　なかで　ばしょとり（すわる　ばしょを　とること）は　できません。
・かいじょうで　たばこを　すうことは　できません。ひを　つかうことも　できません。
・ほどうきょうや　どうろで　はなびを　みるのは　あぶないので　やめてください。

ごむの　ぼーとに　のったり　あしで　みずに　ふれる　たいけんを　したり　できます。きれいな　しぜんの　ふうけいの　しゃしんを　とることも　できます。
くわしい　じょうほうは　いちかわし　こうしき　うぇぶさいとで　かくにんしてください。
