1. Please be mindful of the busy registration season concerning a change of address

Every year between late February and the end of the Golden Week, many residents visit City Hall for a change of address. Service counters at Building 1 become extremely busy especially on Mondays and the day after and before a holiday/weekend. Please be mindful of this busy season.

【You can complete the following registration services without coming to City Hall】
● Getting a certified copy of your resident register and family register by post
● Getting certificates from a copy machine at a convenience store using your My Number card

Gyotoku branch office, Ogashiwa branch office, City Administration Service Center at Ichikawa Station, Minami-Gyotoku Civic Center

≪Advance bookings are convenient≫
Advance bookings are available at City Hall Building 1 and the Gyotoku branch office.
You can shorten the waiting time on your visit to City Hall by making an advance booking.
◎Bookings are available for:
Registration concerning moving-in/out, family register, pregnancy/parenting, nursing insurance, national health insurance, insurance for the elderly, national pension, support for the disabled, condolence advice, etc.
◎Registrations for which advance bookings are not available（please come to the service counters）: Issuance of certificates, registrations concerning city taxes, etc.

2. Road Station Ichikawa 6th anniversary events

This year on Sunday, April 7 marks the 6th anniversary of the Road Station Ichikawa thanks to the great support by our fellow residents. Various events are scheduled such as sales of original “dorayaki” sweets and Kokubun High School brass band performance. For more information, please see the Road Station Ichikawa Website.

≪Foreign Residents Support Center（FRESC）≫

It is a website that informs everyone what is necessary and important to live safely in Japan in multiple languages. ≪Japanese learning site “TSUNAHIRO”≫
The website “TSUNAHIRO - Connect and Enhance Your Life in Japanese” targets foreign nationals living in Japan who want to learn Japanese for daily life. The video-oriented contents are available in three levels. It is a suitable site for people who recently started living in Japan and who are learning Japanese for the first time.
