What are the Open Gardens?

The City has asked our fellow residents to kindly open their tirelessly well-cared-for gardens to the public as a place to appreciate flowers and plants as well as to enjoy interactions with people in the community. As a part of the “Gardening City Ichikawa” initiative which connects people and strengthens community growth through gardening, Ichikawa City provides our fellow residents with opportunities to present the achievements in their daily activities and to re-discover the attractive aspects of the city. Please enjoy various, beautiful flowers and plants while strolling through the city.

From May 3（public holiday） to Sunday, May 12 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. （Dates and time differ depending on the venue）

Date and time： the 4th Saturday of each month from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.（the 3rd Wednesday in May）
Programs: table tennis, basketball, beach ball, dodgeball, soft tennis, badminton, etc.

≪Ainokawa Children’s Hall≫
Dates and time： the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. （the 3rd Wednesday in May）
Programs: table tennis, badminton, darts, dance (please bring your own indoor shoes), etc.

4. Digital Currency ICHICO begins anew in a wider area

ICHICO is a cashless payment system unique to Ichikawa City, designed to revitalize the local economy. Anyone can use it at a member store using a designated app and card.

Convenient – Mainly in the Yawata, Ichikawa, Gyotoku, Minami Gyotoku and Ono areas, stores and restaurants where ICHICO is accepted are incrementally expanding in the entire city.

Easy – ICHICO is usable as soon as the app is downloaded to your smartphone.

Big savings – During the ICHICO campaigns scheduled for July and November, users will save as much as 20 percent of their ICHICO transactions.

【おーぷんがーでんとは　なんですか？】
いっしょうけんめいに　はなや　しょくぶつを　そだてている　にわの　しょゆうしゃ（もっている　ひと）に　ほかの　ひとたちも　にわを　みることが　できるように　とくべつに　あけて　もらいます。そのような　にわで　きれいな　はなや　しょくぶつを　みたり　ほかの　しみんと　はなしを　したりして　たのしむ　ばしょを　つくる　とりくみです。

いちかわしでは　がーでにんぐ（はなを　そだてたり　にわを　つくったりして　たのしむこと）を　とおして　ひとと　ひとを　つなぎ　ちいきの　ちからを　たかめる　とりくみ「がーでにんぐ　してぃ　いちかわ」を　おこなっています。その　とりくみの　ひとつとして　いっしょうけんめいに　つくった　にわを　はっぴょうする　きかいを　つくったり　いちかわしの　みりょくてきな　ぶぶんを　みつける　きかいを　つくったり　しています。 はるの　まちを　あるきながら　たくさんの　うつくしい　はなや　しょくぶつを　みて　たのしんで　ください。

4. でじたる　つうか　ICHICO（いちこ）が　つかえる　ばしょが　ふえています

ICHICO（いちこ）は　まちを　げんきにする　いちかわしだけの　きゃっしゅれすけっさい（げんきんを　つかわないで　はらう　ほうほう）です。せんようの　あぷりや　かーどが　あれば　だれでも　　ICHICOを　つかうことが　できる　みせで　かいものを　したり　しょくじを　することが　できます。

べんり　－　やわた、いちかわ、ぎょうとく、みなみぎょうとく、おおのなどを　ちゅうしんに　いちかわし　ぜんたいで　つかうことが　できる　みせが　ふえています。

かんたん　－　すまーとふぉんの　あぷりを　いんすとーるすると　すぐに　つかうことが　できます　すぐにつかうことが　できます。

おとく　－　7がつと　11がつに　きゃんぺーんを　おこないます。きゃんぺーんの　あいだは　ICHICOで　はらった　がくの　さいだい20ぱーせんとの　ぽいんとを　もらうことが　できます。
