1. Let’s enjoy the delicious “Ichikawa Pears”

“Ichikawa Pears” are being sold at supermarkets in the city, Road Station Ichikawa and farm stands. For more information, please see the map of Ichikawa farm stands.

【Tips for picking perfect pears】

• The color of the pear is even.
• The skin of the pear is smooth.
• The pear is heavy.
• The pear is plump and round.

Pear-flavored ice cream is very popular at Road Station Ichikawa. Pear Yokan and pear noodles are also sold. JA Ichikawa（all branches except Ogashiwa, Toyotomi, and Tanaka）sells pear gummy candies that taste just like real pears. Please enjoy these pear products!

Hometown Tax Donation Program Thank You Gift Fair

【Dates and times】
Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2. Special invitation for residents to Chiba Lotte Marines baseball games

The City of Ichikawa has signed a friendship city agreement with the Chiba Lotte Marines. The city will invite eligible applicants in pairs to attend one of the five official Chiba Lotte Marines games. Applicants can also purchase tickets at a discounted price.

All people aged 20 to 59 who live in Japan must join a Japanese public pension program （either the Employees’ Pension Insurance or the National Pension Plan） regardless of nationality.

「いちかわの　なし」は　いちかわしに　ある　すーぱーや　みちのえき　いちかわや　ちょくばいじょ（やさいや　くだものを　つくったひとが　ちょくせつ　うる　みせ）で　うっています。ちょくばいじょの　じょうほうは　のうさくもつ　ちょくばいじょ　まっぷを　みてください。
