1. The once-in-five-year census is going to be held soon

The National Census is a survey targeting all people living in Japan as of October 1, 2025, as well as all households.
At the end of September, census enumerators visit homes to distribute the survey sheets. Please respond online, send the survey sheet by post, or hand it to a census enumerator.
The online method is available 24 hours a day in seven languages, including English and Mandarin. For more information, please see the official 2025 National Censuc page, provided by the Statistics Bureau of Japan.

【Survey sheet distribution period】
From Saturday, September 20 to Tuesday, September 30.
※ Please note that survey conductors will never ask you for monetary fees or your credit card information.

【Response period】
From Saturday, September 20 to Wednesday, October 8.

2. Myna Kyu Kyu begins on Wednesday, October 1

“Myna Kyu Kyu” is a new system that allows emergency rescue team members to quickly access your medical information in an emergency.
The Myna Insurance Card （a My Number card registered as a health insurance card）enables faster medical interviews. It also enables faster, more suitable treatment and transfer.

Here are the advantages of Myna Kyu Kyu:

（1）Your medical history and information on prescribed medications will be accurately relayed.
（2）You can receive appropriate treatment for your symptoms and be transferred to the right hospital.
（3）Accurate medical information will be provided to the receiving hospital, and your treatment will begin without interruption.

First, let’s get your My Number Card.

【Procedure】
（1）Obtain an application form with your application ID printed on it.
（2）Apply for your My Number Card online or at the post office. Download the application form for foreign residents.
（3）Collect your My Number Card after receiving an issuance notification postcard.

Next, link your health insurance card to your My Number Card.

There are three methods to register:
（1）Use a face recognition card reader at a medical institution or pharmacy.
（2）Register via the Myna Portal.
（3）Register at a Seven Bank ATM.

3. Burning garbage in the open air is prohibited

According to the “Waste Disposal and Public Cleaning Law,” open burning of waste is prohibited.
Anyone who violates this law may be imprisoned for up to five years, or fined up to 10 million yen （or fined up to 300 million yen in the case of a company）, or both.

The City has received the following complaints from residents:

“I have to keep my windows closed because of the smoke and odor.”
“Laundry hung outside will be exposed to the smoke and ashes.”
“Smoke stings my eyes and throat.”
“I’m concerned about fires and spreading and starting new ones.”

4. Ichikawa Sanbanze Tidal Flats Festival

Programs include the sales of local marine products and food, a cruise of the fishing grounds, an opportunity to experience traditional seaweed shredding and salt production, the observation of fish and other creatures living in Sanbanze, and an exhibition on Blue Carbon. For those who won the advance lottery, there will also be sales of assorted fish caught on the day of the event.

【Date and time】
Sunday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be cancelled in case of rain.

【Venue】
Ichikawa Port（Shiohama 1 chome）
Parking space is limited. Please use public transportation.

【Advance lottery】
Sales of assorted fish. Applicants must be Ichikawa residents. Forty people will be chosen by lot. 1,000 yen per box.

Results will be sent out by email by Friday, September 19.

こくせいちょうさは　2025ねん10がつ1にちに　にほんに　すんでいる　すべての　ひとと　せたいに　しつもんを　する　ちょうさ（しらべること）です。
9がつの　おわりに　ちょうさいん（ちょうさを　する　ひと）が　みなさんの　いえに　ちょうさひょう（ちょうさの　かみ）を　もっていきます。
ちょうさは　3つの　ほうほうで　こたえることが　できます。①いんたーねっとで　こたえる　②ちょうさひょうを　ゆうびんで　おくる　③ちょうさひょうを　ちょうさいんに　わたす。
いんたーねっとでは　えいごや　ちゅうごくごなど　7つの　ことばで　24じかん　いつでも　こたえることが　できるます。くわしい　じょうほうは　そうむしょうとうけいきょくの　こくせいちょうさ2025こうしきぺーじを　みてください。

2. 10がつ1にち（すいようび）から　「まいな　きゅうきゅう」が　はじまります

「まいな　きゅうきゅう」は　かじや　じこが　おきたり　きゅうに　びょうきに　なったりしたときに　あなたの　いりょうじょうほう（かかったことが　ある　びょうきや　のんでいる　くすりの　じょうほう）を　はやく　しることが　できる　しくみです。
まいなほけんしょう（けんこうほうけんしょうとして　つかうために　とうろくした　まいなんばーかーど）を　つかうことで　しつもんを　するために　ひつような　じかんを　みじかくすることが　できます。そして　より　はやくて　ただしい　しょち（てあて）と　はんそう（きゅうきゅうしゃで　びょういんへ　はこぶこと）が　できます。

「まいな　きゅうきゅう」を　つかうと　べんりな　こと

（1）あなたの　びょうきや　のんでいる　くすりが　ただしく　つたわります。
（2）しょうじょう（からだに　あらわれる　じょうたい）に　あわせた　しょちと　はんそうを　おこないます。
（3）ただしい　いりょうじょうほうが　つたわります。びょういんへ　はんそうされた　あとも　ちりょう（びょうきや　けがを　なおすために　おこなうこと）が　はやく　はじまります。

【つくりかた】
（1）しんせいしょID（じぶんだけの　じょうほう）が　かいてある　しんせいしょ（かみ）を　だうんろーどする
（2）いんたーねっと　または　ゆうびんきょくで　まいなんばーかーどを　もうしこむ（しんせいしょは　ここから　だうんろーど　できます）
（3）まいなんばーかーどが　できたら　はがきが　とどくので　はがきが　きたら　まどぐちで　うけとる

3. ごみを　そとで　もやすことは　できません

ごみを　そとで　もやすことは　ほうりつ（くにが　きめた　きまり）で　きんし（してはいけないこと）されています。ごみを　そとで　もやした　ばあいは　①5ねんいかの　ちょうえき（けいむしょに　いくこと）または　②1,000まんえん（かいしゃの　ばあいは　3おくえん）いかの　ばっきん（おかねを　はらうこと）または　①②の　りょうほうに　なることが　あります。

4. いちかわ　さんばんぜ　まつり

いちかわしで　とれた　すいさんぶつ（さかなや　かいそうなど）を　うります。ふねに　のって　さかなを　とる　ばしょを　みにいくことが　できます。ふるくから　つたわる　ほうほうで　のり（かいそうを　うすく　のばして　ほしたもの）を　つくったり　しおを　つくったりする　たいけんが　できます。さんばんぜに　すむ　いきものを　みることが　できます。うみの　かんきょうについて　しることが　できます。また　じぜんちゅうせん（さきに　くじで　きめること）で　あたった　ひとに　しんせんな　さかなの　つめあわせ（いろいろな　しゅるいが　はいっていること）を　うります。

【ひにちと　じかん】
10がつ5にち（にちようび）　ごぜん10じから　ごご2じ
あめが　ふったばあいは　ちゅうしです。

【ばしょ】
いちかわ　ぎょこう（しおはま1ちょうめ）
ちゅうしゃじょうに　くるまを　とめることが　できないばあいが　あります。こうきょうこうつうきかんを　つかって　きてください。

【ないよう】
いきたままの　さかなの　つめあわせを　うります。いちかわしに　すんでいる　ひとが　かうことが　できます。ちゅうせん（くじ）で　40にんに　1はこ1,000えんで　うります。

【もうしこみ】
9がつ15にち（しゅくじつ）までに　こちらの　ふぉーむから　もうしこんでください。
ちゅうせんの　けっかは　9がつ　19にち（きんようび）までに　めーるで　おくります。
