The number of new cases has been rising rapidly since last month. Please double-check the following basic countermeasures:

A vaccination venue where no appointments are required

Vaccinations are being administered without appointments at Yamazaki Baking Corporate Pension Fund House (1-3-14, Ichikawa). The vaccine type is Moderna.
○　Please bring your vaccination voucher (the one showing the date of your previous vaccination) and your identification document.
○　Eligibility is persons who have been vaccinated two or three times.
○　In case the daily quota is reached, vaccinations may not be available. Making an appointment in advance is advisable.

2.Enrollment preparation fee loans

The city loans a part of enrollment fees with no interest to those who are faced with financial difficulties when sending kids to high school, technical school, junior college or university. Applicants must meet requirements. For more details, please see the Ichikawa City official website.

3.Special invitation to professional baseball games

The city invites interested applicants to an official game of the professional baseball team, Chiba Lotte Marines which has signed an agreement with Ichikawa City. Applicants can apply for one of the following dates. Winners will be selected by lot.

Dates and time

・Friday, September 2 at 6 p.m. (v. ORIX Buffaloes)
・Saturday, September 3 at 5 p.m. (v. ORIX Buffaloes)
・Sunday, September 4 at 5 p.m. (v. ORIX Buffaloes)

Eligibility

Persons living, working or studying in Ichikawa City. 100 groups (200 persons) will be chosen by lot for each game (Reserved seats in infield stands)

4.Experience the world at Chiba University of Commerce

The Chiba University of Commerce will hold a cross cultural event “Explore the world at CUC” at its international exchange facility, CUC International square (iSquare).
Opened in 2016, iSquare is a place where students can practice foreign languages and experience different cultures in an ambience similar to a café in a foreign country. To offer an opportunity to local residents to get to know international students and their cultures, there will be time to interact with them as well as cultural presentations by international students and CUC staff will give cultural presentations in Japanese and English.

Friday, September 9, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Please specify the hours you can attend when you apply.

30 persons.
In case of too many applicants, participants will be selected by lot. (For those who live near CUC.)

5.Japanese language training for business

The Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) offers Japanese language courses for business free of charge. Due to COVID-19, the course information is subject to change. Also, in case of too many applications, application may close early.

Eligibility

Foreign nationals who have the following visa status:
・Spouse or child of Japanese nationals
・Permanent resident
・Spouse of permanent resident
・Long-term resident

How to apply

Please apply at your nearest Hello Work. Upon application, you need to submit one sheet of your photograph (3cm x 4cm), and show your Resident card or passport.

4. ちばしょうかだいがく（千葉商科大学）で　せかいを　たいけんしよう

ちばしょうかだいがく（千葉商科大学）の　しせつの　CUC いんたーなしょなる　すくえあ(あいすくえあ)では、さまざまな　くにの　ぶんかを　しることが　できる　いべんとを　かいさいします。
こんかいは　がっこうの　りゅうがくせいと　すたっふによる　べとなむや　べらるーしの　ぶんかを　しょうかい（にほんごと　えいごで　おこないます）や　こうりゅうの　じかんも　あります。
あいすくえあは　がいこくの　かふぇみたいな　ふんいきで　がいこくごや　さまざまな　くにの　ぶんかを　たいけんできる　しせつとして　2016ねんに　おーぷんしました。
