1. Please file taxes before the due date

Municipal tax must be filed at City Hall, and income tax must be filed at Tax Office.

Filing municipal tax at City Hall

The city sent out municipal tax filing forms for fiscal 2023 on Friday, February 10 to those who filed municipal tax in fiscal 2022. Please file your tax by Wednesday, March 15.
Municipal tax declaration venues (City Hall, Building 1 and the Gyotoku branch office) will be open from Thursday, February 16 to Wednesday, March 15 between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (except for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).

Notice about the municipal tax

Filing income tax at Tax Office

Filing income tax and income tax payment are both due on Wednesday, March 15. In case of submitting declaration forms only, please take them directly to Tax Office or send them by post.
As a venue to fill out your tax return form, Nikke Colton Plaza (1-1-1, Onitaka) is open to the public through Wednesday, March 15. It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Sunday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb 26 are open).
In order to prevent congestion, admission tickets are issued at the venue. The venue may close early depending on the situation. In addition to issuing at the venue on the day of your visit, admission tickets can be issued in advance on the LINE app. Please utilize the advance issuing service on the LINE app.

2. Applications close in February for influenza vaccination subsidies for children

Application due date:

Tuesday, February 28.

Vaccination period:

Vaccines that were administered from October 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023

Eligibility:

From six-month-old children to six-graders who are registered residents of Ichikawa City as of the date of vaccination.

Subsidies:

Maximum of 3,000 yen per vaccination (up to two vaccines per person).

How to apply:

Required documents (original receipt, etc.) need to be sent to City Hall by post. 
Application is accepted only once. Please apply two vaccines together.

3. Hinamatsuri (the Japanese Doll Festival) in Nakayama

A Japanese doll festival is going to be held in the Nakayama district this month. In multiple locations including Hokekyoji temple, Okunoin temple, local shops and neighborhood associations, “seven-tiered hina dolls” and “hanging hina dolls” will be displayed. Various events are also scheduled. For more details, please see the flyer.

4. Registrations are open for the Health Sports Classes

4.1 Shiohama Civic Gymnasium (4-9-1, Shiohama, Ichikawa City)

Please send a return postcard with your address, name, age, telephone number and desired classes/numbers (up to the second choice) to ISG Shiohama office (272-0127, 4-9-1, Shiohama, Ichikawa City). Your postcard must arrive by Friday, March 3. You can apply for more than 2 classes, but you can win one class per postcard. Results will be sent out around Thursday, March 9.

Your postcard must arrive by Friday, March 3. You can apply for more than 2 classes, but you can win only one class per postcard. Results will be sent out around Thursday, March 9.

5. COVID-19 vaccines updates

You can get vaccinated without reservations at PATIO Motoyawta (3F, 2-15-10, Yawata). Two-valent Omicron vaccines manufactured by Pfizers (BA.4-5) are administered. Since the building is closed on Wednesday, February 15, there is no vaccination on that day.

しょとくぜいの　しんこくと　はらう　ことが　できる　さいごの　ひは　3がつ　15にち（すいようび）です。しんこくしょを　すでに　かいている　ばあいは　ぜいむしょに　もって　いって　ください。または　ゆうびんで　だして　ください。
かくていしんこく（確定申告：はたらいて　もらう　おかねに　かかる　ぜいきんの　てつづき）を　するための　しょるいを　つくる　ばしょが　にっけこるとんぷらざの　こるとんほーる（おにたか1-1-1）に　ひらきます。3がつ　15にち（すいようび）まで　ひらいて　います。じかんは　ごぜん8じ30ふんから　ごご4じまで。どようび・にちようび・しゅくじつは　やすみ。2がつ　19にち（にちようび）・26にち（にちようび）は　あきます。
