1. Your support would be greatly appreciated for the Gyotoku Salt Revival Project
The Gyotoku district prospered from salt production under the direct control of the Bakufu in the Edo period. “Gyotoku salt” was a specialty recorded in history, and a source of local pride. In order to revive Gyotoku salt production using a method similar to the original, the city is accepting donation via the government crowdfunding. Your kind support would be much appreciated!

Production of Gyotoku salt and revitalization of the local community.

2. UNICEF Love Walk in Ichikawa Konodai
The “UNICEF Love Walk” is a charity event that combines walking as a health-enhancement activity with donations for the children around the world.
This will be the first time the event is held in Ichikawa, with Chiba University of Commerce serving as both the starting and finishing lines.
Starting from the university, participants will walk about 5.5 kilometers along the Mamagawa and Edogawa rivers to enjoy the waterside scenery, as well as the historic Guhoji Temple and Tekona Shrine. All participating fees will go to UNICEF to support children around the world.

Saturday, October 10 from 9:50 a.m. to 1 p.m. （Registration begins 20 minutes before.）

Chiba University of Commerce（1-3-1, Konodai）
【Quota】
One hundred people on a first-come, first-served basis.
【Fees】
500 yen for junior high school students and over, 200 yen for kids aged 4 to elementary school students.

3. Ichikawa Sports Festa
There are lectures by great athletes and sports experiences scheduled.

4. For those affected by the 2026 Chiba Prefecture Flood
The city of Ichikawa expresses our deepest sympathies to those affected by the flood. The city is accepting applications for various forms of support to help rebuild the lives of those affected.
（1）Applications for disaster victim certificates
The city confirms the extent of the damage and issues disaster victim or disaster damage certificates when residential houses are damaged by natural disasters.

Take action to save your own life in case of a disaster： Stay calm and do not try to return home immediately!
In the event of a large-scale disaster, you may not be able to easily return home because of the cancellation of public transport services. If many people start heading home on foot at the same time, you risk getting injured by fire and or falling objects. Pedestrian traffic could also interfere with rescue operations.
It is advisable to stay in a safe place, such as your office or a commercial facility, and confirm your family’s safety via disaster emergency messaging services.
It is also important to establish a safety plan with your family, including a meeting point in case of a disaster, and to store potable water and food supplies in your office.

5. Events during Animal Welfare Week
The period from September 20 to September 26 is Animal Welfare Week.
- Pet dogs cannot be kept loose in outdoor spaces, including parks.
- Registration and annual rabies inoculation are legal duties of dog owners.
- Please keep your pet cat(s) inside.
- The city is accepting applications for financial subsidies to help cover costs, such as spaying and neutering stray or community cats.For more information, please visit the official Ichikawa City website.

1. 「行徳の塩」を もう一度 作るために 支援を おねがいします
行徳地区では、江戸時代に たくさんの 塩を 作っていました。「行徳の塩」は 歴史が ある 特産品（とくさんひん： その 土地で 作られる 有名な もの） でした。そんな「行徳の塩」を 昔と 同じような 方法で 作るために、GCF（ガバメントクラウドフンディング）による 寄付(きふ： お金を 出して 支援すること)を 受けつけます。みなさんからの 支援を お待ちしています。

行徳の塩を 作ります。行徳の まちを 元気にするために 使います。

2. 国府台（市川市に ある 地区）で ユニセフ・ラブウォークを 行います
「ユニセフ・ラブウォーク」は、ウォーキングによる 健康づくりと、世界の 子どもたちを 支援するための ぼきん（お金を きふすること）を 合わせた 活動です。
市川市で ユニセフ・ラブウォークを 行うのは はじめてです。スタートする 場所も ゴールする 場所も 千葉商科大学（市川市にある 大学）です。
長い 歴史が ある 弘法寺（ぐほうじ）や、手児奈霊堂（てこなれいどう）、水辺の けしきが 広がる 真間川と 江戸川の 横を 約5.5キロ 歩きます。参加費（参加するための お金）は、すべてユニセフに 募金します。世界の子どもたちのために 使われます。

3. いちかわスポーツフェスタ
さまざまな スポーツを たいけん（やってみること）したり スポーツ選手に 教えてもらうことが できます。

4. 2026年8月の大雨で 家の 中に 水が 入った 人へ
2026年8月の大雨（千葉豪雨）で たくさんの 人が 被災（ひさい） しました。市川市は 皆さまが少しでも 早く 今までと 同じ 生活が できることを ねがっています。市川市では、支援の 手続きを 行っています。
（1）罹災証明書（りさい しょうめいしょ）を 出しています
地震や 洪水や 大雨などで 家が こわれたり 水が 入ったりした場合に、市が その家を見て、罹災証明書 または 被災家屋等証明書（ひさいかおくとうしょうめいしょ）を 発行します。

大雨で 家の 床の 上まで 水が 入った 人に 災害見舞金を わたします。

災害ごみ（災害によって 使うことができなくなった もの）のことや、ボランティアの 支援のことを 質問したい 人は 市川市公式Webサイトを 見てください。
災害が 起きたら 命を 守る 行動を とってください。すぐに 家へ 帰ろうとしないで 落ち着いて 行動しましょう。
大きな災害が 起きると 公共交通機関(電車や バス)が止まって、家に 帰ることが 難しくなることが あります。たくさんの 人が 一度に 家へ 帰り始めると、火災（火事）や 落ちてくる 物で けがを することが あります。救助活動（動けなくなっている 人を 助けること）の じゃまに なることも あります。
まずは、職場や 大きな建物など 安全な 場所で 待ってください。災害用伝言サービス（災害が 起きたときに 自分が 安全かどうか 家族や 友達に 知らせる サービス）で 家族が 安全か たしかめてください。
また、落ち着いて 行動するために、家族と 連絡を 取る 方法や、災害が 起きたときに 集まる 場所を 決めておきましょう。職場に 水や 備蓄食料（びちく しょくりょう： 災害が 起きたときの ために 用意しておく 食べ物）の 準備をしておきましょう。

5. 動物あいご週間の イベント
9月20日から 26日は、動物あいご週間です。
- 公園などで、犬の はなしがい（リードを 使わないで 自由に させること）は できません。
- 犬を 飼ったら 「犬の 登録（とうろく）」と、年1回の 「狂犬病（きょうけんびょう： 犬の 病気）の よぼうせっしゅ（病気にかからないために する ちゅうしゃ）」を 必ず しなくてはいけません。
- 猫は、家の 中で 飼いましょう。
- 飼い主が いない 猫が こどもを うまないように するための しゅじゅつには 助成金（市が一部を お金を出すこと）が 出ます。くわしい じょうほうは 市川市公式Webサイトを 見てください。
