1. Let’s systematically take out the garbage during the New Year holidays

A notice regarding the collection of recyclables and garbage during the New Year holidays:

The city will not collect recyclables or garbage between Wednesday, December 31 and Sunday, January 4. To avoid accidentally forgetting to take out the garbage, the city recommends using the “garbage separation app” and “garbage collection calendars,” which are available in nine languages.

Applying for large-sized garbage collection by phone （fees apply）

Please call 047-712-6300 when you apply for large-sized garbage collection.
Applications for large-sized garbage collection by phone will not be accepted between Sunday, December 28 and Sunday, January 4.
Applications via LINE and the internet are available 24 hours a day during the New Year holidays as well.

Bringing in your garbage to Clean Center（Fees apply）

2. ICHICO winter campaign - giving back 100 million yen

In response to popular demand, the city started the campaign again this year. For more information, please visit the Ichikawa City official website.

From December 1, 2025

More than 1,000 shops in the city.

3. Let’s enjoy the first sunrise of the year from 150 meters above the ground

The city will offer a special viewing of the first sunrise of the year at the I-Link Town Observatory.

【Date and time】
January 1, 2026（public holiday）from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.

【Venue】
I-Link Town Observatory Facility: Observatory Lobby and the Rooftop Floor.
（In case of inclement weather, the rooftop floor may be closed.）

【Eligibility and quota】
Ichikawa residents, 55 groups will be chosen by lot.
（Up to 5 persons in a group, multiple applications from the same group will be voided.）

【Application】
Please submit your application using this form by Monday, December 15.
Applicants will be notified of the results by email by Friday, December 19.

4. “Ichi-nyan Support,” a support base for local cat rescues will open

The city is going to hold an opening event to commemorate the foundation of the support base.

Introduction of local cat adoption, exhibition of local artist’s work, commemorative tin badge giveaway, and more.

ねんまつねんしに　「しげんぶつ（かん、ぷらすちっく、かみ、びん）と　ごみ」を　だすことが　できない　ひが　あります

12がつ31にち（すいようび）から　1がつ4にち（にちようび）まで　「しげんぶつと　ごみ」は　だすことが　できません。
ごみの　ひを　わすれないように　「ごみぶんべつあぷり」や　9つの　ことばで　かかれている　「ごみしゅうしゅうび　かれんだー」を　つかってください。
「ごみしゅうしゅうび　かれんだー」は　この　さいとで　だうんろーどすることが　できます。
「ごみぶんべつあぷり」は　Androidはここから、iOSはここから　いんすとーるできます。

おおがた（おおきい）ごみを　すてる　ときは　でんわで　もうしこみます（おかねが　かかります）

おおがたごみの　しゅうしゅう（とりにきてもらうこと）を　もうしこむときは　047-712-6300に　でんわを　してください。
12がつ28にち（にちようび）から　1がつ4にち（にちようび）まで　でんわで　おおがたごみの　しゅうしゅうの　もうしこみは　できません。
LINEや　いんたーねっとでは　ねんまつねんしも　24じかん　もうしこみをすることが　できます。
