1. Special seat tickets for the 2026 Ichikawa Residents’ Fireworks Display will go on sale
Ichikawa Residents’ Fireworks Display
【Dates and time】
Saturday, August 1 from 7:15 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.
【Venue】
Edogawa riverside（Osu 3 chome）
Advanced sales of paid viewing seats for Ichikawa Residents
Paid viewing seats for the fireworks display will be sold exclusively to Ichikawa residents in advance.
【Period of sales】
From 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 7 to Tuesday, June 9
- Elevated seats: 180cm×90cm, 25,000 yen for 4 people
- Two-person seats （on slopes）＝150cm×90cm, 13,000 yen for 2 people （Some seats are on steep slopes.）
- Pipe chair seats（upper tier/lower tier）＝8,000 yen for 1 person
- General seats （unassigned seating in a designated area）＝5,000 yen for 1 person
※ Children aged 3 and under: One child can enter free of charge with a ticket holder of a two-person seat or pipe chair. (The child must sit on the ticket holder’s lap.) Up to two children can enter free of charge with an elevated seat ticket holder.
General seat ticket holders can bring one preschool-aged child for free.
School-aged children and older individuals require paid tickets.

Special fireworks viewing 150 meters above ground
The city will sell special viewing tickets for a viewing of the fireworks display from the I-Link Observatory Facility.

6,000 yen per person

Apply on the CN Play Guide website＜外部リンク＞ between Wednesday, June 17 and Friday, June 26.
If there are too many applicants, 220 people will be chosen by lottery.
Winners will be announced on the event’s official website＜外部リンク＞ by Wednesday, July 1.

2. Temporary measures are in place regarding city-designated garbage bags
City-designated garbage bags are scarce. You can only use bags that meet all of the following requirements if you cannot obtain one. For more information, please see the Ichikawa City official website.
The bags must be:
- Transparent or translucent so you can see what is inside
- Without any holes
- The same size as the city-designated garbage bags（15 to 45 liters）
- For burnable waste: Write “もやす” on the bags
- Plastic containers and wrapping: Write “プラ” on the bags
※ You cannot use black or dark-colored opaque bags, small shopping bags, or bags from other cities. The collection days, times and separation methods remain the same.
【Period】
This measure is valid until Tuesday, June 30. The period could be extended. Please use the city-designated garbage bags in principle.

3. Summer Festival 2026 at Nicotto
The Yawata Civic Exchange Center, also known as Nicotto, is hosting a summer festival this month.
There will be many programs, including a music concert where the audience can participate, a word search game, a photo booth, and workshops. We look forward to your participation!

4. Let’s go out on Monday, June 15, Chiba Prefecture Residents’ Day
Zoological and Botanical Garden
Elementary and junior high school students will be admitted free of charge on Chiba Prefecture Residents’ Day.

These museums are normally closed on Mondays, but they will be open on Chiba Prefecture Residents’ Day.

5. Virtual Japanese lessons for beginners
The Chiba Prefectural Government will host virtual and in-person, beginner-level Japanese lessons for individuals who came to Japan as accompanying family members.

【Dates and time】
From July 3 to September 4 （24 lessons in total）
Mornings of Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Group 1: 9:00 to 10:30
Group 2: 10:45 to 12:15
【Eligibility】
- Residents of Chiba Prefecture
- Persons aged 16 and over
※ People who don’t have nearby Japanese classes will be prioritized.
【Class methods】
18 virtual lessons on Zoom, 4 in-person lessons and 2 in-person life orientation lessons.
【Application】
Please submit your application on this form＜外部リンク＞ by Wednesday, June 17.
Please note that class size is limited to 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will close early when the quota is met.
A placement test will be conducted on June8, 15 or 22.

ゆうりょうかんらん席（お金を はらうと すわることができる 席）を 市民に 先に 売ります
市川市で おこなう 花火大会の ゆうりょうかんらん席を 市民にだけ 先に 売ります。

- さじき席（特別席）＝180cm×90cm/4人/25,000円
- ペア席（しゃめん）＝150cm×90cm/2人/13,000円（けいしゃが きゅうな 場所も あります。）

- じゆう席＝決められた 場所の 中で 好きな ところに すわります 1人/5,000円

2. 「市川市の 指定（決められた）ごみ袋」ではない 袋で ごみを 出すことができます
「市川市の 指定（決められた）ごみ袋」が お店で 買いづらくなっています。買うことが できなかったときは 他の 袋を 使うことが できます。下の （1）から （4）まで すべてに あう 袋を 使うことが できます。くわしい 情報は 市川市公式Webサイトを 見てください。
（1）中に 入っている ものが 見える プラスチックの 袋
（2）あなが 空いていない 袋
（3）市川市の ごみ袋と 同じ 大きさ（15～45リットル）
（4）もやす ごみ → 袋に 「もやす」と 書いてください。プラスチックの ごみ → 袋に 「プラ」 と 書いてください。
※ 黒色などの 中が 見えない 袋、小さい 袋、他の市の ごみ袋を 使うことは できません。
