1. October is Physical Fitness Awareness Month! Let’s start playing sports!

Beginners are welcome! Residents’ Sports Classes

The Ichikawa Sports Association hosts various classes, such as badminton and archery, for elementary school students and older.
Advanced applications are required to join a class. For more details including sports and dates, please refer to the schedule, and contact the class directly with any questions.

Enjoy exercising in a casual and happy environment! Light Sports Classes

These classes are places where people can have fun rather than focusing on winning a game. The amount of exercise and physical stress is smaller, and the rules are simple. Anyone can participate. The sports promotion committee is hosting the classes at 13 locations in the city. No reservations are required.

Ichikawa Sports Festa

You can experience various sports. Advanced application classes are already closed, but there are still events in which you can participate on the day of the event. Mr. Yuji Nakazawa, a former professional soccer player will be a special guest.
All participants will receive one hundred ICHICO points. For more information, please visit the official Ichikawa City website.

2. The city will give back a total of 500 million yen worth of points through the ICHICO Autumn and Winter Campaign

The Autumn Campaign started on October 1. The city will give back a total of 500 million yen through the autumn and winter campaigns.

Fall campaign: from 10 a.m. on October 1 to Saturday, October 31
Winter campaign: from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2026 to Sunday, January 31, 2027.

About 1,300 stores in the city

【Point reward rate】
30% maximum （10% at some stores） ※ The point reward rates vary by stores.

【Caps on point rewards】
Autumn campaign: 4,000 points per person
Winter campaign: 6,000 points per person
Please note that one you reach the upper limit of points for a campaign, you will not earn any more points until the campaign ends.

ICHICO promotional event: Autumn Marché

ICHICO member stores will come together to sell delicious food and cute goods.
Staff will assist with the app registration and adding value to your ICHICO app.

3. Ichikawa Residents’ Festival

This lively festival features magnificent stage performances and various commercial and promotional booths.

November 3（public holiday）from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The opening ceremony starts at 9:50 a.m.
The event will be cancelled in case of inclement weather.

4. Let’s become artists using acorn paint!

Participants will enjoy the beauty of natural colors and try stenciling with the paints made from acorns and other natural materials gathered from the area.

Saturday, October 17, 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Each session is about 30 minutes. In case of rain, Sunday, October 18 at the same times. If it rains on the 18th as well, the events will be rescheduled.

Twelve people for each session on a first-come first-served basis.

市川市の　スポーツきょうかいが、バドミントンや　アーチェリーなど　さまざまな　教室を　開いています。小学生以上の　人が　参加できます。

簡単に、楽しく　運動が　できます！軽スポーツ教室

軽スポーツ教室は、勝つためではなく　楽しく　スポーツをする　場所です。体は　たくさん　動かさないので　あまり　疲れません。ルール（決まり）も　簡単です。誰でも　楽しむことが　できます。市川市の　13の　場所で　開いています。申し込みは　必要ありません。

いちかわスポーツフェスタ
